I have been working very diligently to gain more exposure for it, and with a little bit of your help I think that I could accomplish that. I was hoping that maybe we could help each other out.

I would love the opportunity to write a guest post for your web site georgiacontrarian.blogspot.com. I am open to any specific requests that you may have or any topics that you would like me to cover, and if you would like to provide me a title then I could have it written up for you in no time. Otherwise I could write a guest post entitled "The Top Ten Ways to Save Money on Health Insurance".

The guest post will be 100% unique and of a high standard. Of course it will never be sold or used anywhere else. All I ask is that you provide me with a link or 2 back to my site. I look forward to working with you and hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you so much for your time.Jodi Smithnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2308282620289958037.post-75998719714365843472010-10-08T17:14:27.539-04:002010-10-08T17:14:27.539-04:00A fine post. @CAM, many of us would no longer use...A fine post. @CAM, many of us would no longer use the adjective distinguised to describe Helen Thomas. I agree with MC that I suspect that the award will be renamed. A vexing ethical issue is whether medical information derived from unethical experimentation should be used. If Nazi medical abominations can help people today, then I believe it is ethically permissible to do so. Others may disagree.Michael Kirsch, M.D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07555280388086931097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2308282620289958037.post-42476509761695473232010-10-03T19:44:16.084-04:002010-10-03T19:44:16.084-04:00Sir,

Note in the CDC stats that fully 14 of the 19 recorded toy related deaths were secondary to encounters with motor vehicles or drowning; only 5 deaths were directly related to respiratory arrest or penetrating trauma from direct interaction with a toy. Considering this, and how distracting it is for an adult, such as myself, to disentangle two paperclips, I can certainly appreciate the CPSC's concern that a child trying to do this could inadvertently wander into the path of a car or fall into an unsecured body of water, the principal causes of toy-related mortality. Perhaps we should not be too quick to judge their acute perception of such risks for children.

Now, regarding the John Cutler Global Health Lecture and Award. Given that (1) no one either inside or outside the medical community will three weeks from now recall anything about Dr. Cutler and (2) there are any number of physicians who will accept any award if it adds another line to their CV, I expect with the proper qualifications, denunciations and equivocations this award shall continue to be offered. The greater opprobrium will frankly be attached to the individual presenting the award and finding someone both of stature and with the courage to do so may be problematic. I understand however that the distinguished journalist Helen Thomas has recently retired and might be coaxed into such an endeavor, her having demonstrated courage in speaking truth to power for so many years.

Yours sincerely,

CAMCAMnoreply@blogger.com
